Getting Started with HDR – HDR PodCast

I had the great opportunity of sitting in on a panel discussion about HDR Photography with Ron Pepper of HDRSoft (Photomatix) and Richard Harrington of Photofocus for their HDR month.  It was a fabulous discussion about the in’s and out’s of HDR.  If you want to see some perspective from 2 other HDR Enthusiasts you might want to take a good look at this Podcast.

I was really impressed to see how 3 people (myself included) use the same tools to make dramatically different HDR Images.  We shared our thoughts on many things, from Noise, to how many brackets to use and even showed our typical HDR Workflow.  Of course, I went a bit to the extreme with my Zone Systems, I do tend to get a bit head strung 🙂

Enjoy the HDR podcast and let me know what you think about HDR and HDR Workflow.

Here is the final image I was working on in the Podcast:

Most people think I am passionate about Photography, but in reality I am not.

Wait, before you freak out, you are on a photo site, I am addicted to post processing. To be more specific, I am addicted to workflow efficiency and cracking the codes to complex systems. That's what I do here, crack the code to photo post processing and present it in a concise way, for you :)
