I just wrapped up the Topaz Webinar on Compositing. Thank you to all who made it to the live presentation. For those who missed it, I completely understand, we all lead busy lives! Once the tutorial goes live on YouTube I will post it here.
In this webinar I showed how to use “The Right Tool For The Job”. In this case, the foreground figure was not the right tool for the job! However, just as a mechanic uses multiple tools on your vehicle, it is behoove you to use multiple programs or plugins for your compositing. It would be very difficult to use just a wrench when fine tuning a car, likewise it would be near impossible to make a great composite with Topaz Adjust alone.

Just finished viewing the Topaz webinar you hosted. Very informative and was amazed at how you combined the use of Adjust, ReMask and Photoshop techniques. I’ve subscribed to your Everyday HDR website and joined the HDR Insider. I wanted to learn a lot more about using HDR and it looks like you are just the resource I needed.

Blake, thanks for the tutorial with Topaz yesterday.
I was hoping that in addition to the tool guy image we could also have access to the HDR image. That image was at least as important as the the one of you as far as following the tutorial. You did a lot of adjustments that were very specific to that background. While I realize I could do the work with any image it wouldn’t be nearly as helpful. If this were some incredible vista or far-off land that was a once in a lifetime shot I wouldn’t even ask. But as far as I can tell, it’s your garage. Not that your garage isn’t special.

Not a propblem Tim, glad youy liked the Webinar. Yeah the garage is nothing fancy, just a local downtown garage. I did think about adding it to the package. However, I thought it would be cool to see where people might place the tool guy using some of the knowledge learned in yesterday’s webinar. I am more interested in how people use the information than having a replica of yesterday’s tutorial image. I will be sure to conduct more webinars, I have a lot of fun putting them together and the response is quite nice!
