What do two bad ass photographer’s do when one of their wives is planning a baby shower for the other?  On the day of the baby shower they go out and take some photographs, that’s what they do!

Eric and I, had been planning this trip for 2 months or more.  The date was set, the time was set and the 80 mile strip of road that stretched from Santa Cruz to San Francisco was to be our subject matter.  All of this planning, preparation and anticipation just to have our Photo Excursion fall on the only weekend of Winter in the bay area.  That’s right, we got rained out, or in, I should say.  While weather was a straight up bummer, we were able to make the best of it by taking our weapons of mass pixel destruction indoors to the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.  Before heading there we were able to make at least 2 stops where the rain had subsided.

And some pics from the Academy of Science in San Francisco.
