I developed a pretty good technique for making some kick ass looking Graphic Novel-esque images.  It looks spectacular on military related pictures, Helicopters, Uniforms, Guns, weirdos in gas masks…  Check it out.  I made myself an Action for it and cannot stop using it on every image I come across.  Just remember if you make an Action for this, be sure to change any 16bit Tifs to 8 bit Tiffs so the filters will work properly!
