Following last week’s post and the celebration of 10 years of f.64 Elite, I am opening 6 of the 12 critique sessions conducted in the community this week. Above you will see a slider of six videos, uncut, for you to see how feedback is given every month on member images.
While I usually do not aim for a theme, this week’s focus was story and color. There are people who believe images don’t tell stories and that artistic vision is some kind of fallacy. I don’t subscribe to that; I respect that view, but I don’t subscribe to it. Regardless of what you think, every image IS going to affect the viewer.
Maybe that effect isn’t always a profound earth-shattering effect, but the viewer will see what you made and respond. It’s really up to you to decide what that response will be. What you put into the image is what you will receive from the viewer. If you dont know what you are putting into it, it’s up to your image and the viewer to respond.
