HDR

Meet Yhun Suarez from England, otherwise known as Spectrumcry on Redbubble.  He is a self-proclaimed amateur/hobbyist HDR photographer, but his images are suggestive of a much higher class.   Yhun has a true passion for the HDR trade.  I have been inspired by his eye countless times, and in many cases… jealous.  Ironmonger’s Shop is the perfect example (Featured below).  Here are a couple of words from Yhun about his process, equipment, and inspiration:

I use Photoshop & Photomatix. I capture my images using a Nikon D60. Lenses: Nikkor kit lens 18-55 mm & Tamron 10-24 mm.

I got my DSLR camera around Sept 2009 when I also started to develop my interest in the world of photography. When surfing the net one day, I stumbled upon an HDR image of a dog sitting outside a house. This blew me away and got me all determined to learn the technique.

HDR images, when done properly, are very eye-catching. They make my images more interesting with it’s dramatic effects, detail and life-like appearance. It is so much fun to do & it always excites me during the processing stage that an ordinary, plain image is going to come out with a lot more impact, becoming like “photos on steroids”.

It definitely improved my images in my opinion, and also based on the comments from other people. HDR just takes it to a whole new level.
