I am all about increasing my workflow with hot keys and shortcuts in Photoshop. Today I am going to show you how to replace a background with special attention to all the hot keys and shortcuts used to get from point A to point B. You can grab the list at the end of the blog so you don’t have to write them down as the video is going.
Hotkeys and Shortcuts Used In This Video:
- HOLDING ALT: Toggles the current tool selected for it’s opposite. For example, when making a quick selection hold alt to toggle between + and -.
- Q: Toggle Quick Layer Mask Mode
- B: Toggle Brush Tool
- Alt + Scroll Wheel: Scroll Up to Zoom In and Scroll Down to move Out
- [: Minimize brush size on the fly.
- ]: Maximize brush size on the fly
- CTRL+Z: Undo
- CTRL+SHIFT+I: Invert Selection
- D: Default Palette to black and white
- X: Switches colors in the palette
- CTRL+J: Duplicates Layer
