Using Palette Effects 2 to Make Autumn Images Glow!
I am a big fan of this time of year. The pumpkins, the weather, the hoodies, and the snuggles under blankets… yes you read that correctly, I am a snuggler, it is one of my love languages, so what?
It is also the time of year when the leaves change and leave the golden remnants of the year behind to prepare for new growth. For a short period of time (location dependent) you can capture natures most robust colors. However, those images don’t always look so good straight out of your camera.
Why is that?
Well, our cameras have a lot of jobs going on all at once. One of the most difficult things for a camera to capture is color. Sure, our White Balance does a lot of work in the camera, but it just can’t capture the feeling and the emotion from the colors we see. There is the disconnect between the resulting image and our mind’s eye. It is up to us as artist-photographers to showcase the beauty we see with robust colors.
Have no fear, this is a lot easier than it sounds if you have the right tools and knowledge. In this quick video, I am going to show you how to make your fall images look amazing with just a couple clicks on the brand new Palette Effects 2.
