What I learned from Jim Welninski recently
I am the type of person who loves to learn new things. I read quite a few books every year, I spent a LOT of time on the “Google” researching things I don’t know, and I embrace interaction with everyone because everyone can provide value to your life. Recently, I learned some amazing things about photography in a whole different way.
Jim Welninski and I produced a course called The Creative Mechanic where we tackled the topic of becoming an artist-photographer by analyzing your strengths through two different workflow approaches. We broke the approaches down into The Creative (Jim) and the Mechanic (Blake) and we processed 4 images each (8 workflows total) and looked at our images together in the conclusion.
It was an awesome experience, but what is just as interesting as seeing what we did to one another’s photos, is what we inadvertently taught each other. In this video, we will discuss how we are always learning new things and how important it is to take those lessons learned into our post-production workflow.
The Creative Mechanic is a limited access course and will be closing on November 28th at Midnight CST
If you purchase this course, it is very specific to this region, will you need to purchase each new iteration?
Yes, Gail! Each course will be a new area (as it looks now) with different ways of looking at those areas. Every course will be a separate purchase, but if we update something within this specific course (Creative Mechanic Olympic National Park) those updates will be free.
