I do love this program I think it is an awesome alternative to Photoshop for those who may be intimidated by the plethora of sliders and conglomeration of tools contained within it. In this 13 minute tutorial I will show you the ropes of photoFXlab, what I love most about it and surprisingly enough a quick little composite. photoFXlab is extremely powerful and very affordable for the features it offers. Check out the Before and After and see if this is something that may or may not interest you, however, if you give photoFXlab a chance you will be in hog heaven in no time!
I have used Topaz plugins for a number of years, and really like what they have done with photoFXlabs, just terrific to be able to access all the plugins from inside this one interface.
Thanks for an excellent tutorial, it cleared up several questions I had as I start using the new setup!
Thanks Francie, I am glad it was able to clear some things up for you. I had a blast reviewing it and doing the tutorial and I am sure it will make its way into my normal workflow!
Blake, thanks for a another great tutorial. Topaz photoFXlab is great. I have struggled at times with layers and masks in Photoshop and this makes it a little easier and it is a springboard for understanding and not get so frustrated with Photoshop. Don’t get me wrong, I love Photoshop and use it all the time, but there are certain times when it can get aggravating. I enjoy all your tutorials and appreciate the time you take to make them. Thanks again.
Awesome, thanks Murray. I really enjoy making these tutorials and putting my techniques out for others to take a gander at. Photoshop is amazing, however, it can be cumbersome on the mind. photFXlab does a great job preparing you for that kind of commitment later. It is like a set of training wheels for Photoshop!
