Every year between December and late February the Bald Eagles make their way into Platte City, MO. I love seeing them around. I have a strong appreciation for America and all that we stand for as a nation. Seeing us progress through time, knowing where we have been, what we have stood for and everything our future holds is insightful, inspirational, and something I cannot wait to share with my son.
Seeing the Eagles around town always reminds me of everything stated above. If only they knew that, because they always seem to fly away from me when I get too close. I mean come on Eagle, I am here for you! Stop flying away from me!!!
I took these shots several weeks ago but just recently got around to editing them. I really wish my 70-300 would have gotten me a wee bit closer, but I will take what I can get!
