I am posting the Topaz Labs Webinar I did earlier last month just in case you may have missed the live recording. It was a pleasure working with Topaz Labs on this Webinar. I have to be honest, I was very nervous at first, I mean wouldn’t you be? A live Webinar in front of 847 people across the world. It was a bit nerve-racking the first couple of minutes.
Usually when I record tutorials they go something like this, “Hello everyone welcome to EverydayHDR (Awkward pause, my name is Blaaaaaaaa…. UGH!” and then I re-record it. This usually happens for about the first 5 or six recordings, and then I make weird noises, like the time Jim Carey made Steve Carell look like an ass on camera in Bruce Almighty. Then I re-record it after my mouth muscles have been stretched a bit.
I couldn’t really do that with the Webinar for Topaz Labs. If I messed up I couldn’t really get away with calling myself obscenities and then re-record it. It was a one time good deal! I had plenty of time to prep though, as you can see by the crazy amount of note cards taped to my monitor!
In the end I think it went very well and I am looking forward to doing it again. Next time, I won’t be so nervous at the start! I am going to work with Topaz about the sound, not sure if it is my equipment or something with the recording software, or maybe it was the tin can I was speaking into… hmm?!?
Hi Blake,
Understand the nervousness, but you have no need to worry, the webinar was perfect and so full of information to help us all, looking forward to the next one. Love the shot of the webinar command post by the way!
Gerald
Thanks for the feedback. I hope to do many more in the future!
Great tutorial, I wish it works with Elements 11.
Sorry my friend, I only know the Photoshop stuff 🙁
