I spent a lot of time creating logos for the new endeavor, LearnPhotoNow.  I realized after it was all said and done that there may be some people interested in the wonderful world of PNG files.  Sometimes I take for granted the amount of random things I have learned over the years of web design and the power of the PNG is definitely one of them!

The beauty of the PNG is that you can save any logo with a transparent background so it can be used on various applications such as PowerPoints and Web Designs.  However, you are not limited to logos, you can use the PNG file to create web advertisements and just about anything where a transparent background is necessary.  GIF’s are capable of the same thing, but PNGs compress a bit smaller, which is imperative for the web!

In this tutorial I will show you a couple of examples where PNG files can be used as well as how to consider creating your logo to maximize its PNG functionality!
