Now you can have your own Custom Photoshop CC Panel!
Tonee Gee and I have been working on a new panel for Photoshop for the last several months. We kept this one a big secret because of its potential to change the way everyone works in Photoshop CC.
We have been developing panels for a while, Tonee and me, but those panels have all been preprogrammed and populated for you when you “take them out of the box.” We saw one issue though, what if you wanted to put one or several of your actions that you use in your daily workflow into our panels? That wasn’t possible.
Tonee figured out a way to incorporate that feature into our panels, but we decided, let’s shake it up even more. Let’s make an empty panel waiting to be filled by the user so they can make any workflow panel they desire, all while organizing their actions folder. The result was MyPanel, a panel to help you build a custom Photoshop CC Panel.
In today’s video, I am going to show you the new panel we have built for Photoshop that lets you create your own Custom Photoshop CC Panel! I am going to share my top 3 favorite features.
1. Full Customization of the sections and buttons with unlimited panels all contained in one panel.
2. The Save Image panel for resizing, saving and watermarking your images at lightning speeds
3. Backup your Actions Palette with one click and transfer it from one version of Photoshop CC to the next or one computer to another.
Congrats Blake,
Your extension will be a wonderful addition for Photoshoper (photographer and others) who don’t know how or don’t have the time to learn how to build a personnel panel.
I agree with you, it’s a steep learning curve, and the development of a sophisticated panel never ends.
I am more into javascripts then actions, so the possibility of adding javascripts AND actions to the panel would be interesting.
Thanks, Pierre. I will see what Tonee can do there.
This is impressive. But, what happens if an Action transferred to the Panel contains a Stop command, for, say, manual adjustments to be completed by the user, and then Play has to be re-executed for the remainder of the Action to proceed?
It still works, it won’t stop the Action. It still works because all the panel does is tell the action to play as it would if you pressed play.
You talk too fast. Is it written?

Man I have been wondering how these panels are created. I wanted to be able to make some for myself.
Thanks
This is one very easy way to do it 🙂
Have you think an upgrade for more actions …
30 pieces är in my opinion not enough. My last critices is at My Panel are very expensive.
You impart such a lot of information in quite a short period. As such I guess I also feel you talk a little too fast for most to take it in. Additionally you need to be very clear when you whip the cursor across the screen and select/unselect something as it is too quick to see what you have done.
Great to encounter a Master at what you do though. In a video I do have the chance to take it back and forth to determine what you have said or done but this can break the concentration on what the learning point is.
Great stuff though!
I do talk pretty fast and deliver at a much higher rate than normal. But if I talk slow, I get bored, if I get bored, you get bored 🙂 After 10 years of doing videos and making more than 1800 I can tell you I have tried to slow down, but that is not my style and I genuinely don’t like it when I slow down.
As you gain experience in Ps you will appreciate the delivery speed as most other educators talk too slow for experienced users. For now, there is a pause button 🙂
Hello People,
I agree with Blake, yes he may talk a touch fast, I do so myself, but it holds your attention more and keeps it interest moving along at a fast pace. Then haven’t you heard of a pause button and or rewind. Admittedly if it’s a live stream you can’t do that, but then watch it again, you might pick up something you hadn’t realized you’d missed.
Why do we always find something to moan about, it is a strange and weird world that we live in. take care you all.
