How do you know if you are stuck in a genre box?
If you ask me, “Blake how will this technique work on a ________ photo” when I am editing a landscape… you are probably stuck in a genre box. But don’t worry!
There is hope ? In this Live Event, I am going to show you how I edit in a way that is NOT genre specific. I hope you are ready for a mindset shift, this will change the way you think about photo editing across all genres.
I will be editing 4 different categories of photos using the exact same layers to prove that the genre doesn’t matter as much as the pixels you are pushing.

I was disappointed that your GPS did not help much with my underwater photographs. I realize you are not an underwater photographer, so this is not a criticism. I do appreciate everything you do.
Underwater photography has its own very specific challenges and What works on land-based photography may not always UW. There are excellent instructors who specialize in UW, Go Ask Erin is one who I recommend highly. However, I do find f64 academy videos and Blake in particular a very good teacher and have learned so many “outside the box” techniques, even for my underwater shots.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I bought the X-Pen that Blake suggested and it works great with my 27″ (2017) iMac. Hope this helps, if you are deciding to buy one, And no, I have no linkages of any type to X-Pen whatsoever.
