Hi Blake, Give me a call if you need any extra help getting around Sedona and Flagstaff…GC, Prescott & Painted Desert. # is on my website
Nice video. Just as you can spread out a compressed tonal range, you can compress a more balanced tonal range. Try this when you want to make a high key image of sand dunes, for example, or when you want to create a low key street scene.
Thanks for making sure everyone knows about these great tips. I’ve had the clipping warnings on fulltime since about Lightroom 2. They’re a must-have…like the Zebra display on your a1!
Thank You! I learned things I did not know, and I have been a PS user for 20 years!
Very helpfull Thanks. Beard is comming on nicely.
Damn, I am justified finally. I queried you some years ago about why you did use the blowout boxes on the histogram. I use them always. One of my several initial adjustments in ACR is to look at those and be sure there are no blowouts if I can. You basically replied that I don’t need them. Sorry Dr. Blake, they are useful as a starting point!
