There is always something good, even in the worst scenario!
One of the things I have learned in my adult life is that there is always something Good that can come out of the worst instances. If you keep your energy positive and focus on what good can come, you will always find something positive. This is also true for art.
Last month on HDR Insider we discussed this in our monthly Project. I had everyone make some bad editing decisions, analyze what worked, apply what worked to the “good” image and in turn make it better. The response was limited in participation as this is a relatively difficult and vulnerable task. However, the images were incredible and we all learned several new bad techniques to make better photos.
In this webinar with Topaz Labs I will be showing you how I made the great image below from a series of really “bad” Topaz editing techniques. I will be using Adjust, ReMask, Black and White Effects, Glow, ReStyle and Impression.

Along with this webinar I have created a workbook outlining the steps I took to create the image above. In the .zip folder you will also find an Actions package with 4 Actions specifically for Topaz Adjust and Topaz Black and White Effects 2.

This webinar was an adaptation from an HDR Insider Project from May 2015. HDR Insider is a premium content HDR community that features awesome discounts, Photoshop Actions, Workflow Tutorials, Anonymous Photo Critiques and a closed Facebook Group!
