I recently conducted a Webinar with Topaz Labs about forming your Workflow Formula. A workflow is a very difficult thing to cookie cut for every image, because every image is different.
From beginning to end, my workflow for HDR is much different than my workflow for a portrait. However, there are some things that remain constant throughout the photographic workflow process. In this Webinar I discuss the workflow formula and how to overcome issues when variables get thrown into the equation.
I have some pretty valuable supplemental information that goes along with the Webinar that you are welcome to download as I will be referring to the information found in it during the Webinar.
Here is the Webinar for those who missed the Live showing:
Blake…
that was an AWESOMe webinar!! Thank You very much.
I picked up a lot of technique from your 1 hour webinar.
I felt like a Grade School student trying to quickly learn a
College course in Photography from his favorite Internet Guru
…..BUT you explained things in such a simple but informative way
it’s amazing!! More power to You Mr Rudis.
With Much Gratitude……Romi 🙂
Wow! I am so delighted to hear that! I sincerely appreciate the feedback and am glad the tips and tricks will be of use to you!
awesome webinar. I will need several attempts to let it soak in. I will buy the zone system tomorrow. thanks for the discount.
Will the downloaded info explain what you did before you enabled the action? I missed that explanation. It had something to do with enabling the action?
Thanks again, and looking forward to a great experience with the Zone system.Vince g
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback.
The training goes over everything and more!
Excellent Webinar, Blake! I think it may have been the best yet! You are on your way 🙂

Thanks! I took a lot of time to prep for this one.
Can’t agree more with the above comments, they have put all my sentiments in far better way than I can. Thanks Blake.
Thanks Gerald. I appreciate the feedback.
Great job yesterday. Really glad you and Topaz are working together. I have a question that was not answered.
Because I use Elements 11 and not PS, what work arounds to replace Stamps and Groups do you suggest? I’m guessing your Zone System also won’t work. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Bob! I am glad we are working together too, it really is an awesome company to do work with. Their products are awesome and their staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I am not sure how the interface looks for Elements, but the principles remain the same. Edit what you can according to the Workflow template and see how it works for you in Elements. The DZS will not work in Elements, I apologize!
Awesome!! The workflow in Topaz Denoise alone was worth its weight in gold Blake! Talk about “fine tuning” an image. Thank you for this webiinar and for sharing your workflow with us. We can tell how passionate you are about photography and image editing. It shows greatly…
With Much Respect, Tal Pipkin
Thanks Tal! DeNoise has some awesome Noise reduction capabilities. I love how powerful it is. So glad you like it!
Thanks, Blake. This tutorial was great! –and will get more than one viewing. i really love the Topaz software, and am constantly looking for ways to improve both my understanding and my use of it.
I’m brand new to this site TODAY and HDR is a new and interesting concept. (At 72, I move slower than most!). Already I’ve learned a great deal. Looking forward to more!
Thanks Lynn! I have another Webinar coming up with Topaz on the 22nd. If you want to expedite the HDR Learning curve, you should checkout HDR Insider. The Members find the tutorials there extremely helpful, you can see results in their Project entries from Month to Month. It is a “Treasure Trove” of HDR knowledge, so I have been told.
