Headed out to the Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival this weekend. We always look forward to the art and wine festival’s in California. The food is always pretty good the art is alright, but the Crafts are out of control! It seems these festivals need to be renamed: “Crafts, Beer and Wine”. 3 years ago we went to an Art and Wine festival in Capitola and it truly was an artful fest! These days they are turning into craft fairs, I saw more hand-made soap booths than photography booths. There were about 8 jewelry booths and 3 painting booths. I know jewelry and soap making are an art form but it would have been nice to see more Paintings or Photography.

The sky was rather cloudy for Santa Clara and seemed on the verge of rain all day.  Made for a dramatic scene, I am all about that!
