FINALLY!  The wait is over!

Most of you may not have been waiting per se, but I certainly have.  6 years, as a matter of fact.  I have always wanted surgical precision masks at the Raw level, and we almost got there in 2017 with the introduction of the Luminance and Color Range features in the adjustment tools.  However, it was clunky, difficult to use well, and left a lot to be desired.

The new Luminance and Color Range Masks in Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom are incredible!  At first glance, I thought, “meh, this is pretty neat,” but with further dissection and experimentation, I found I almost can’t live without these new features now.

In today’s video, I will break down the new Luminance and Color Range Masks and show you how easy they are to use with a little bit of experimentation.  I will also show you how the new Luminance Masks relate to a tool we all know and love, Blend If!

I will also show you a brand new system of presets I have developed that will have you making incredible selections in seconds!
