I recently read The HDR Book  by RC Concepcion and boy am I glad I did.  RC has written the best HDR book to date.  I have read 6 HDR books now, while the others may have been decent and sometimes good, none of them have hit the mark like RC.  You want to talk Post Processing, check, or how about 3 different HDR programs, check, did I mention a sweet intro to what images look great in HDR, check!  RC has put together one hell of a ride through the world of HDR.  From setting up the exposures to flattening the image and calling it good, you can expect to increase your knowledge of HDR, HDR software options, and your Photoshop post processing efficiency all in one great HDR book.  From cover to cover The HDR Book seamlessly weaves every, sometimes tedious, step of the HDR process into a painless basket of helpful HDR knowledge.  From the beginner, to the advanced, there is something for everyone in RC Concepcion’s The HDR Book and to top it of all of the source files are available for download so you can follow along with him!

RC Concepcions The HDR Book is one fine recipe for excellence.  Take one tablespoon of Kelby Media, one tablespoon of Peachpit Press, add 2 cups of RC’s powerful HDR style and several hundred dashes of post processing skills aged to perfection.  That is one hell of a well written, well compiled, and superbly printed HDR book.
