We have been in the Mid West for a little over a month now.  We haven’t had near as much time as we would like to explore but from what we see, we like it so far out here.  Have you ever seen the commercial for Hidden Valley Ranch dressing?  That is kind of how it feels out here, the middle of no where at times, rolling hills, and everyone is genuinely friendly.  About two weeks ago we took a trip to Weston, MO, about 10 minutes from our apartment to try some local wine and the Weston breweries food and brew.  There is a winery in Weston called “Pirtle”  it resides in an old church and has quite the atmosphere for wine tasting.  My father and I were not too impressed by the wines but the ladies liked em’ and if you know anything about being married, a happy wife is a happy life!  The picture below is from the parking lot of the winery.  They kept the beautiful decor of the old church.
